USB DAC Recommendation

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

I'm looking to take advantage of the current strong $AUD and pick up a mid-range USB DAC. Price range AUD$250-350. Going from my laptop to a Little Dot MKIV and HD650s.

I figured I'd ask for recommendations here before I spent hours trawling through head-fi.

Cheers,

EDIT: If not try iBasso

why not the Little Dot DAC1? would compliment the sound of the MKIV (IMO)

This puts you squarely in the range of the Audio-GD NFB12 (assuming my currency conversions are correct). You should do some research on it yourself, but I can tell you it is raved about in the headphone community. Not sure if they ship to Australia though.

Any reasons for USB DAC > internal soundcard?
