Colin McRae Rally games, and DiRT 2, haven't played or got DiRT 3

There should be far more in that list, but I can't think of them.

I was disappointed by Need for Speed Shift and Shift 2, and Hot Pursuit was kinda crap.

I also think I might have enjoyed F1 2010 if I had got it in the Steam sale recently. At the very least, it would give me some knowledge of F1.

Anyway, got any recommendations based on that?

Dirt 3 is very good, if you enjoyed Dirt 2 you will like it, no doubt. The new gymkhana events are fun (think tony hawk on wheels), it also includes head 2 head races and enviromental changes. great game.

F1 2010 feels closer to GRID than Dirt, it was a bit buggy at launch, dont know about now. maybe you should hold off for 2011 releasing in late september, at the very least 2010 will drop price.

From the little i played GT5, id say its worth it. Good feel to the driving and massive amounts of content, different events, tracks and vehicles. it may not be the best driving game but its def enjoyable.

Burnout paradise is a good ARCADE racer, look into it, its fun, altough chances are that you may not like it if you didnt like hot pursuit.

NFS carbon was alright, if you enjoyed most wanted and inderground 2 you may like carbon. it can be found dirt cheap.

From those i would encourage Dirt 3 the most, its a safe bet. GT 5 at a cheap price is also worth it.

I'll probably get DiRT 3 when it goes on sale at some point, then. As for GT5, I don't have a PS3, so getting it at a good price would be hard.

Burnout Paradise was alright, but a bit too arcadey. I generally much prefer games with licensed cars.

Carbon felt very disappointing after Most Wanted, and the silly thing with crews and gang members etc. felt unneeded and too complicated.

DiRT 2's good, but I haven't completed it because it seemed to get a bit boring and repetitive. Like I said, I'll try to grab DiRT 3 at some point.

I think DiRT 3 does also have its fair bit of repetiveness with the Gymkhana events, they are fun events, but they are all over the place. appart form that the game does not feel repetitive.

the multiplayer is as fun as dirt's 2.

BTW if you want a cheap Key:
http://www.g2play.net/store/search.p...=search&page=1

ive bought from that site before. dont know how it will work with GFWL though.

no, it would not work.

you would have to get yourself a disc or image as if it was retail, and then use that key.

the site works, but i dont know if GFWL requires a disc to play the game or what.

ive bought some steam keys there an they all worked wonderfully.

i have no clue if you can activate the key on GFWL and download it through them, it may be worth looking into.

EDIT:
apparently you can activate a game through GFWL

i tried to do that with my CD key from steam and it did not work, i dont know if its because that CDkey is already tied to my account or what is the deal.
