Original directory>
"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\SteamApps\\Common\\Crysis 2"
New directory >
D:\\SteamGames\\Crysis 2

Procedure:
1)Copy the contents of C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\SteamApps\\Common\\Crysis 2 (just the contents) and leave the directory alone.
2)Paste the files in D:\\SteamGames\\Crysis 2
3)MKLINK /J "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\SteamApps\\Common\\Crysis 2" "D:\\Steamgames\\Crysis 2"

How can i revert the process?

No, you need to remove the original location before you replace it with a symlink.
So it's important that you move the folder.

Cut "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\SteamApps\\Common\\Crysis 2"
and paste it inside "D:\\SteamGames\\"
Then
mklink /j "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\SteamApps\\Common\\Crysis 2" "D:\\SteamGames\\Crysis 2"

-----

To revert the process, delete the symlink "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\SteamApps\\Common\\Crysis 2"
and move "D:\\SteamGames\\Crysis 2" back to its original location "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\SteamApps\\Common\\"

Rep coming your way, thanks for your time and patience Infra.

Final question to not bother the trhead, if i have 2 hard drives with Windows installs in each of them. Can i install the Steam client for the same account in both of the OSs?

Hope Blood Lines is as good as people say.

You can install steam on whatever amount of machines you want, but you can't login from 2 different machines at the same time.
See the Steam account use pages

If you wanna have the same steam content on both rigs all the time the mklink /j unfortunately doesn't work pointing @ network locations.
But, what I guess could be done is
Install Steam 1 (the steam of PC1) to a network drive on PC2
Install Steam 2 (the steam of PC2) to a local path on PC2

On PC2, mklink /j the "steam 1" steamapps folder to the location of the steamapps folder from "steam 2"
Or, still on PC2, mklink /j the "steam 2" steamapps folder to the location of the steamapps folder from "steam 1"

I will keep this page bookmarked/open now that it is no longer a sticky. I will post the deals when I can but like Tizmo, my life is a busy mess too. I'll just post the US prices since it's easier for me because that is the price I see. If you are really interested in the game, you can see your price when you click on the link. I'll also post the metascore Rating and the Forum link if there is one. Format credit goes to Tizmo. Please come back when you are ready lol.

BTW, if I was any of you, I would just keep the last page of this thread open in your web browser all the time. It is just easier to find the latest game information that way. Just click "Last Page" at the top of the screen.

F1 2010 feels closer to GRID than Dirt, it was a bit buggy at launch, dont know about now. maybe you should hold off for 2011 releasing in late september, at the very least 2010 will drop price.

From the little i played GT5, id say its worth it. Good feel to the driving and massive amounts of content, different events, tracks and vehicles. it may not be the best driving game but its def enjoyable.

Burnout paradise is a good ARCADE racer, look into it, its fun, altough chances are that you may not like it if you didnt like hot pursuit.

NFS carbon was alright, if you enjoyed most wanted and inderground 2 you may like carbon. it can be found dirt cheap.

From those i would encourage Dirt 3 the most, its a safe bet. GT 5 at a cheap price is also worth it.
Probably a bit late but NFS Carbon although was a great game was way too buggy and laggy for me to keep. I got it direct from EA and they wouldn't even send me the disc to play from to see if it would fix it. Just told me to go buy another copy if I wanted the disc. Yeah I think that was the beginning of the end for EA on my systems.
