You can install steam on whatever amount of machines you want, but you can't login from 2 different machines at the same time.

If you wanna have the same steam content on both rigs all the time the mklink /j unfortunately doesn't work pointing @ network locations.
But, what I guess could be done is
Install Steam 1 (the steam of PC1) to a network drive on PC2
Install Steam 2 (the steam of PC2) to a local path on PC2
On PC2, mklink /j the "steam 1" steamapps folder to the location of the steamapps folder from "steam 2"
Or, still on PC2, mklink /j the "steam 2" steamapps folder to the location of the steamapps folder from "steam 1"Edited by Infrabasse - 7/29/11 at 9:43am
