Depends on what you like if you where expecting recently released games to go under 10 dollars when they been selling well at retail (Skyrim, Arkham City and the like) that just not going to happen that soon.

I mean just go by Blizzard's awesome pricing strategy. You don't sell your product any cheaper than is necessary. I picked up SC2 for $30 during Thanksgiving since I'm sure it won't go below that price for a long time (as in years).
Nah, just older games that are popular and a couple of years old. I guess I've already picked up most of the titles that fall into that category in previous sales.

That's quite likely it. I mean Avadon: The Black Fortress for $2.50 yesterday was a steal if you like old school CRPGs and that's a game that was just released a some months ago.

I do feel that certain older franchises could do with a reduction in the base price so that when they hit 75% they are even more palatable to steam users but in the end its their prerogative if they want to do it or not.

I agree. Tempted by Batman and F1 2011 but passed on 'em. Picked up Portal 2. Railworks is cool, I've owned that for a while and got the 2012 update for free. I've been trying to jump on some of the indie games instead of all 'A' titles.
Bought a bunch of casual indie games for my daughter at 2.50 a pop.

Orcs Must Die - a game I've completely ignored but picked up for $2.50 and is a ton of mindless fun at an hour a shot when I'm taking a break from Skyrim.

I'd really like to see Empire/Napoleon Total war go on a daily sale.. Although the combo pack at $15 is tempting right now.

See, I played Barman AA and didn't like it much, so I'm not getting AC. I have F1 2011 and Portal 2 and Railworks, and I've just been playing Skyrim and Minecraft recently. Empire and Napoleon Total War are a couple of the very few games that I think I really wasted my money on - they're just not my kind of game. Still, they were cheap on sale so it's not too bad.

Bought one game this sale for £3. I spent over £70 in total last year, I find it hard to imagine me beating that.
