Hi, I am new here and have I have tried to overclock my athlon II x4 630 but always gives on overclocking error. I have an asus m4n68t-m v2 motherboard. The Ram seems to overclock fine but not the CPU. seems to only work at the 200Mhz speed with an 14x multiplier to make 2.8GHz, with is the stock speed for this processor. I would like some help. Maybe I am overclocking wrong. Thanks!!

thanks, I think it is the motherboard. The built in overclock profile will max at 7% overclock which makes sense since i was able to get 3GHz out but fails after that.

Even if your CPU can do more, those profiles stay the same, they are pre-defined, don't automatically adjust to how much you really can OC.
