L.A. Noire

Reviews for the game are in...and...to my surprise, it's getting good scores. I thought that due to them not showing us any gameplay, the game would pretty much hinge on the facial mocap tech. Really is a pleasant surprise. And I'm extremely jealous of all the people who have consoles right now! -looks at Heavy Rain too-

However, I'm still wary of media reviews (besides Joystiq and Ars Technica). I'm hoping to get a PS3 in the near future, and I'd like a user review of the game. Splashing out hard-earned cash for something that will gather dust doesn't bode well with me, as there's hardly a market for 2nd hand games here.

Thanks in advance!

The game looks great. I was watching an interview today and they said some missions are 1-2 hours long. The game is around 21 hours. I always wait a while to see everyone's reaction, but I think I'll be getting this game soon.

Probably one of the most hands down best games that i've played in a very long time. Its GTA but your a cop, open world go as you please. Its mission based sorta but you can move on your own. Its easily a 10 out of 10 for me. I'm litterely in love with this game. For any GTA or a game someones looking to play pick up L.A Noire. Its AMAZING

Picking this up at BB tomorrow. I got a free $15 GC + 500 reward points which $25 off so I couldn't pass it up. Had to leap for it.

It's very saddening that I will never play what looks to be a most enjoyable and outstanding game because it will not be released for PC's.

Very sad.

Games like this and RDR are worth picking up a console for. Used PS3 are under $200 now, definitely worth the investment.
