You setup looks almost like my rig.

Yea MOBO is mostly for bling .. I thought it would be appropriate, now that im cooling almost everything .. and i just can't withstand those Ek blocks! smile.gif

If i get my Ram blocks, they will be in a closed isloated loop, so they don't kill my main flow! I have an XSPC 450 l/h pump for it, so it will just be a 120mm, ram and the pump.

Your setup is really nice though, although it puzzles me - why run 2x SLI/CF configs not connected? And how big is the radiator in the top?

Oh, the new ek ram block is rather sexy. Have you seen it?

It's a dual loop, one for the quad cards in parallel and one for the cpu. Previously I was running a 4.4ghz 920 that put out a ton of heat so a 360 total rad size is probably more than needed for the much more efficient SB chip.

No one mentioned it yet, but a lot of people strongly suggest using distilled water only. The premixed dye stuff can gunk up in your blocks. If you want color go with some type of red tubing.

Yea i am really thinking about buying corsairs dominator ram, just to get the EK See-through plexi ram block! That thing would be so freaking nice with the blood red coolant running through..

But i am afraid that i did not make myself clear enough -i thought that there were no CF/SLI connector between the top 2 cards and the bottom 2 cards, but i have just noticed that is it simply located to the left of the other connectors, slightly covered by the hoses smile.gif Nvm cool.gif

Ah, yea AMD just strings them together in a series connection unlike Nvidia.

Res size is unimportant, that will be fine.

Ditch the coolant, it will eventually break down and gunk up your blocks. Get some red hose instead, either 3/8" * 5/8", 7/16" * 5/8" or 1/2" * 3/4", the performance difference is negligible. The thicker wall size types (sizes I listed) are more resistant to kinking. Make sure that your fittings match your hose:

Barbs - ID of tube to barb, OD of tube to clamp*
Compression - Both ID and OD of tube to fitting

*The exception to this rule is using 7/16" ID tubing with 1/2" barbs. You have to heat the tubing slightly and stretch it over the barb. This gives a tight seal without the need for clamps.

Series. Always series. Will give better flow than parallel and will still work if one pump fails. See Martin's testing for details.

Scythe GT's? They give the best noise / performance ratio by far, but are costly and hard to come by.
