Besides overclocking issues which is probably the key to every problem you had encountered. But i would like to know if you ARE using a legit Operating System Windows 7? Be honest

The OP said that all of the simple troubleshooting had already been done. I would definitely say the above things listed would be classified as simple troubleshooting.

You raise a very good point! A bad torrent could cause any of the problems the OP listed.

Not that I am ummm encouraging using said illegal operating systems... but you may want to try a different source when you (legally of course ) reinstall windows this time.

md5 check what you download, especially OS Windows updates are the same as in pirated version and legit version.
