It's not common, but can be done if you're crafty enough.

Use your RAT 7 on a solid surface. The Twin-Eye sensor will be happier that way. Effects of Z-axis issues will be minimized.

Abyssus. DPI adjustment on the bottom, or through it's control center. I claw grip and this thing was perfect for me. Sleek, Responsive, Small.

Winner. You'd be a fool to ignore this post.

If it had two side buttons I'd totally try it. That's asking a lot considering it's size though.

How much smaller is the Abyssus compared to the Deathadder?

Eh the lack of on the fly DPI adjustment (something I can use in-game) is killing me on the Abyssus.

If I didn't want easy on the fly DPI adjustment , I could just use my WMO or trackball.

Anybody have experience with the Naga? All those extra buttons seem useful (at least for me).

As a Quake player side buttons just get in my way as I have nothing worth binding to them. I can understand if you play Counter-Strike or Team Fortress 2 how they would be useful though.

Then you can try the Xai. 8 buttons and an on-the-fly dpi switch. Just don't bother with the Naga.

My Rat7 came in and its been great.

Hopefully my Kinzu/Xai will come in today so I can try out over the weekend.

WMO1.1a have you had all of those mice? I've had a decent amount from your list and my preferences would have the list flipped.

The WMO/IMO are great for basic stuff but once I need more buttons my hands start cramping (from using extra keyboard shortcuts).

Gah wish I knew what the best mouse for me is.

So far the RAT7 is definitely staying unless the other mice wow me. After 3 hrs of fiddling I have to say its the most comfortable mouse I have.
