$400 mATX or mITX Rig for storage and 1080p playback. Suggestions?

My main question is, should I go mITX or mATX for this build? I have only built standard ATX rigs so far but I have heard that mATX is very similar to a standard ATX build. However, I have heard that mITX is much more difficult to build since you are working with less space.

I don't mind going over $400 on my limit just a tiny bit. Preferably mITX, but mATX is fine too if mITX would be too much for me to comprehend.

All it needs to do is have a 1TB Hard Drive and be able to play 1080p videos from YouTube or files with absolutely no lag.

What parts would you guys recommend?

I would go for a mATX build if you are not space-constrained. µITX builds are nice in the sense that they are much smaller and some can even be attached to the back of the monitor so they're completely out of the way; if this isn't interesting for you, then you should go mATX.
Within 400$ you have some legroom. You can go for a 60$ Samsung F3 1TB, 50$ 4GB DDR3, a 70$ Antec NSK case with integrated PSU (usually they have an Eartwatts 430W or something similar) and this leaves 220$ for the CPU and motherboard. You could get a pretty well equipped H67 mATX board w/ USB3 and an i3 2100 around this price range; as an alternative you could pick up an AMD 880GX board and a Phenom II X4 955 processor which would provide more SATA3 ports and more multi-threaded performance.
