my first self-build pc: looking for comments + advice

Thread Starter
gc: Radeon HD 6970
cpu: i5 2500k tray
mb: Asus P8P67 Rev.3.0 pro
ram: G.Skill PC3-12800 8GB (2x4) (1600 MHz)
psu: Corsair HX Series, PSU 850HX (not sure about this, maybe 750 or even 700 are enough)
hdd: Caviar Blue 500gb (to save money)
ssd: OCZ 95gb 3,5" (newest gen)
cpuhs: Coolermaster Hyper212
case: HAF922
screen: Asus VW222U 22 Zoll Widescreen TFT

got dvd + keyboard already

i have close to 0 experience overclocking but this is what i have in mind:
planing to oc the 2500k to at least 4,7 maybe 4,8 ghz (stable 24/7 build, is this ok? does it decrease lifetime by a lot? is my case/cpuhs enough?)

clocking the ram to 1600 mhz (9-9-9-24)[since it gets clocked down by default to 1333 mmhz]

not planing to oc the gpu.

edit: pc is for gaming + frapsing while gaming
budget is about 1300 Euro (about 1840 USD) but keep in mind that pc parts are usually more expensive in europe

You'd probably want something a bit better than a 212+ for 4.8, corsair H50/H70.

However if all you're doing is gaming than you wont need any past 4.0GHz. I did some tests to see if I actually gained any fps from 4.0 to 4.6 and the difference was only a few frames so I brought it down to 4.0.
