INTEL CORE I5-2300 vs INTEL CORE I3-2120

One question i cant find out.
Sandy Bridge CPU,s haw video cards in so how good those video cards can preform.

Im building PC,s for sis and my gf. sis will moustly use it for photoshops and HD movies and gf from HD movies and some games like Sims ,Aion,Civilization V ...would these video cards handle them atleast on Medium settings?

if you can afford the tad bit extra and get the 2500k

sadly money is realy big obsticle this way for the money im alowed to spend for those PC,s I pushed max i could go

What do you plan on doing with your integrated graphics (it's not a card, it's part of the cpu)? The PERformance of most integrated graphics is less than stellar in games, but the k series have double the pipelines than the non-k chips, iirc.

My understanding is that the nvidia 320M will noticeably outperform the HD3000 in games/rendering, and you're looking at the HD2000, which I would personally not consider a gameable GPU, however games like the sims at medium should be useable, I'm not familiar with the others.

As others suggested, go with the 2500K. for only $39 more (per intel MSRP), you double GPU performance. If you really are interested in playing games on it, either spend that $40 on a discrete card, or get the K series.
