So in short way.I had standart home PC for years needed hours of game optimazing to run them on high or at medium.Till i got my first more or less high end gaming rig i never thought that Bad Company 2 could be played at 100-120fps on MAX at 1080p.

Old setup.

GTX 260 core 192
4gb Corsair CL5 800mhz
160GB samsung 7200rpm

Mobo-Gigabyte

New Setup

MSI GTX470
4GB Kingston HyperX cl9 DDR3 1600mhz
750gb Samsung HDD 7200rpm
CPU cooler-Megahalem Push/Pull
GPU-Twin Frozer II

Two quick items:
1. Cable management - lots and lots of zip ties
2. Your processor uses triple channel memory - you should grab a triple channel kit, its one of those small advantages to having a 1336 system

Everything else looks good and you should enjoy your new system for quite a while, though with some overclocking and a new GPU (or SLI 260's) that old rig could have been quite competent

and in most cases completely unnecessary. having 2 sticks instead of 3 will actually improve overclocking and will not hinder the system in any way.
