AMD's Llano APUs

Thread Starter
Will the new Llano APUs be compatible with AM3+ motherboards? Or is it just something completely different, like server sockets?

Llano is meant for Desktops, right?

If it isn't a desktop CPU then what will be released besides the powerful Zambezi APUs? Will anything replace the existing Athlon II Series?

Hopefully there will be some energy-saving CPUs available.

Could you clear me up?

Llano will use a different socket. AM3/AM3+ not ready for on-board GPU.
