I get it, but a massive step forward to really knowing nothing is kinda useless. Might as well get your palms read.

Dying does not bother me. I know it will happen and I accepted it. However, knowing when would completely break me. That is not rational considering the fact that dying is a fatality, but my poor brain couldn't take it: too disturbing.

Just imagine leaving with a countdown on your head.

Fortunately, this test is a very vague estimation. Still, knowing (for example) that you'll die in your fifties at best is not exactly reassuring.

I'd get the test. Would be cool to know my experation date imo. Then instead of procrastinating I'd finally do all the things I've wanted to do like base jumping

If this was a serious question, no, your hair's color has nothing to do with age. Some people go bald (or almost) in their 20's and live for 80 years and some have beautiful brown (or whatever) hair till they die at the age of 50. Also, since you have dark hair, bright hair show up more clearly. I'm 16 and I find gray hair once in a while.

On topic, I think this is cool and I'd love to take the test. I'd like to know. What's wrong with having an estimate of your expected death date? It's like how I want to know my sperm count, it'd suck to find out about a problem while in the act of getting a baby. Hell, if something's wrong, you can do things you wouldn't have done otherwise. I see no negative side of taking a test like this, assuming you aren't depressed already.

All you guys saying that it might scare you into doing what you want to, you should probably assume you are going to die tomorrow, and just do all the things that you want to.

Death shouldn't be the only motivation to live

This, obviously.

Maybe it tell you how long you would live if you never smoked/drank/got sick ... etc.

The theory is that you lose telomeres (in your chromosomes) after every cell division. At some point, the telomeres become so short that your body tells your cells to stop dividing and die. Perhaps if your cells continued to divide and ignore that signal, it may introduce errors and possibly result in tumors/cancer.

This is just a theory and it is not exactly definitive.

What if you were to lose weight (if fat) or work out and get in shape (if not)?
