Triple Monitor size preference? - Page 2

I'm running 3x20 inches .. also partly because of economy, and partly because of desk space - it takes alot of space, more than you really do expect ..

But personally I dont think Ill go larger than 22 inches

with 3x22/1680x1050ea would be the smallest that you'd want, because 3x19/1440x900ea would look ridiculously thin, but still better than a single monitor ........of course the bigger the better(pun), so 3 30'' 2560x1600 would look really good......bare inmind that even @ 5040x1050 my 480s are already strugglin' with 1500MB of vram used in every game, and even my 450 is showing 75% usage in physX games, so i imagine that you'll need even more power for 3 1920x1080 and beyond......so imo 1.5GB graphics cards and above are needed for 3 monitor setups if you want to play at decent settings with good framerates

Ya like I said Im gonna go with that other LG 22" since I already got one and Get a nice monitor for middle. Any suggestions on a good quality 22" monitor. Def 1080p and HDMI would be great.

I prefer 3 21in monitors in a portrait setting. Looks awesome. You need monitors that are even around all sides to do that though.

I have 2x GTX 570's. I think it will be fine. And if I need to tone the graphics down a lil thats fine. First SLI machine and triple monitor so i'll just have to see how it goes.

What do you mean even? These LG's are basically square monitors. You mean no bevel?

I actually prefer 4:3 screens to every other ratio in eyefinity.

If I had the chance, I'd go for 3x of my current monitor, the GDM-F520. It's a 21" CRT, which means it has 19.8" of viewable area. That's about exactly as tall as a 24" 16:10 monitor. Yet, this is impossible because I can't find these monitors for sale within 100km of me, so I'm stuck with only one of them.

My eyefinity setup consists of this monitor, a 24" 16:10 on the right doing 1600x1200 on 1:1 scaling, so the image is the same size, and to the left I'll be adding a 17" 1600x1200 CRT as well, doing 85hz at that resolution. In eyefinity, using a certain glitch that allows for mixed refresh rates, 2x 85hz and 1x 60hz on the LCD.

My setup only consists of my main monitor and one 1920x1080 monitor at the moment, since I don't currently have an adapter for the rest of the screens.
