Witcher 2 Questions

Thread Starter
Hello,

I am going to run out and get Witcher 2 once I get out of class in a few hours. I never played the first Witcher just because I wet put off by the combat system. I have been watching videos on it for the past hour and am dying to play it. Do I need to play through the first game in order to understand and enjoy Witcher 2? Also can I max it out? It looks like an amazing looking game.

Also, does it play fine with mouse and keyboard?

thanks

Yes you do have to play the first part to understand the characters who is triss marigolds and king foltest, or you won't have any idea who is this random chick.

Also you need a save import from the first part so you can start out with all your gold armor and igni skill so you can own people faster unless you like to start out with rags having no skills and it will take you forever to down one mob.

The game' mouse control sucks, your camera is stuck above your head and sometimes it shows the opposite direction from where you want to go and if you want to run forward you have to press a mouse button until your finger gets numb. Also once you open your inventory screen the game stops itself and you can't do anything untill you close it. The magic control sucks too after you start charging igni your direction is stuck.

You won't be able to max it unless you have 580 in tri sli and oc to 6 ghz
