Connecting my pc to TV

hi guys, sorry if this was the wrong section wasnt sure were to post

i have a nvidia gtx 460 overclock edition, got a vga cable here to connect to a 40" samsung tv to watch movies on and such from the internet, unfortunatley the cable doesnt reach after iv moved my room around.

need to buy another and i got my current one of a friend.

can anyone suggest a good one from a UK store? online pref.

and iv been told to get a gold plated for better clarity or something?

suggestions welcome

I believe all HDMI/vga cables are the same, so therefore no difference to image quality or clarity whatsoever.

i would plug in with my ps3 cable but there isnt a space on my graphics card to plug it in

can anyone suggest a good cable?

If you're considering using the ps3 cable then try DVI to HDMI converter.

Connect too your tv with the hdmi and mini hdmi on your 460.

i would but i dont have the cable to fit into the 460 hdmi port and im not sure my tv has a space for a mini one, unless i buy some sort of adaptor.

im gonna take a drive into pc world tomorrow look at some cables

my 480 came with a mini HDMI to HDMI cable...

you should be able to find one on ebay or your local electronics store

Your TV will have the standard HDMI input, while a mini HDMI on the 460. Either get a DVI to HDMI or mini HDMI to HDMI adapter. Both requires a standard HDMI cable.
