WC Loop Advice...

Thread Starter
Hello guys, just wanted an advice on a wc upgrade I wanna do...

I currently have my 1090T watercooled with a Corsair H70 w/reservoir mod (Swiftech micro res 2).

I also want to WC my GTX 480 and wanted an advice on which pump is better. A second 480 might be bought later as a GPU upgrade...

Now, I was looking at the Koolance RP-452x2 (Laing D5) dual reservoir and the XSPC one (DDC) and my plan is to remove the current reservoir and use the second one on these reservoirs for my CPU wc

What do you suggest is better with the lowest cost possible? Do you have any other reservoirs in mind that can also accommodate dual pumps?

My plan is to remove the other reservoir I have for the CPU and rather use a dual loop one...
For a cleaner case that is...

The reservoirs you are looking at include pumps for both loops. Your H70 already has a pump on the block. And for what the Koolance reservoir costs you would be better off with the kit and adding two blocks for the graphics cards. This would be a lot cleaner than a hybrid H70/dual loop system.

I only plan to get one pump and use the 2nd reservoir half only as a reservoir, not a res/pump combo

I would leave the cpu H70 loop alone, and just piece together a second loop for your gpu(s)

Get a res/pump bay combo, 240 rad, tubing, and gpu block.
