[HELP] MSI BIOS Update.. !!

Thread Starter
I'm having a MSI X-58 Pro-E motherboard.
From long time it does not support many of the USB drives, Like

• I can't connect/ recognize/ install my Iphone Drivers automatically
• I can't connect my samsung mobile even.
• Many other.

Whenever I plug-in something in the USB port, I get a pop up on the right-bottom of my lcd,
Showing :"INSTALLING NEW DRIVER"

Then after 2-3 second next pop-up "NOT ABLE TO INSTALL SUCCESSFULLY"

I'm fed up of this problem.

Do I need to update BIOS or USB PORTS ?
Please gimme some link to update them.

Mention here if I have to provide some more info.

Sounds like a Windows 7 thing.
Does your Device work? Even though it says its Not Able to Install.
Try to go to Microsoft.Download.Softwareupdate look around there for your device and try install it if you already have not done so. If you already did then go to your control panel uninstall then download the latest software from Microsoft for that device and give that a go then see what happens. It should work and make sure you restart your computer when installing and re-installing updates. COmputers are rigid like that.

If that doesnt help find someone reputable, maybe you have a computer oriented friend and pay them $25 smackers to help you with your software needs, its not worth the time and headache to figure it out on your own sometimes.

MSI also made a video on how to flash your BIOS its somewhere on youtube if your interested in doing that, also just browes their website, specifically your Mobo and start your search there or their onlince service center. All else fails call their customer service.
