Mortal Kombat - Page 2

The BlazBlue fightsticks are identical to the SFIV ones, with the exception of button assignments. But these can be changed in-game so it is a non-issue.

I love this game, its really good, but you have to find your character that fits your style!

It just takes a little practice if you are a big SSTF4 fan, for example I always played MvC and MK but after playing MvC3 for a while I found that it is a little bit of a pain to get the combo's in MK because the combo's in MvC3 are easy, but in MK to win you have to constantly block and combo. hope that helps a little.

And yes the lay out is kind weird when you start :/

This is the main thing about it. I got it and love it. MK got the revival it needed going back to it's roots in gameplay. Enjoy every bit of it, including the online showcase lobby. I like it very much.

So I got a blazblue fight stick off amazon since I had some gift cards, all I have to say is that fight sticks make a big difference when you're coming from a 360 controller. The control you gain is ridiculous. I had my doubts but I definitely say a fight stick is the way to go.

On a side note, I played King of the hill last night for about an hour. First off it was only me and 1 other guy but after a few matches it started filling up. KOTH is by far the best part about online, yeah it's laggy but you can interact with the people you're playing with and just talk about the matches you're either watching or actually playing. I also got the OP's XBL info but have yet to play with him, lol. One of these days we will!

I bought it purely based on the previous Mortal Kombat game, this is NOTHING like the previous game. I'm selling it for PS3 if anyone would like it? I paid £40, so I'd happily take £25 for it.

It is an acquired taste, I think most people who like Street Fighter will like this, but I hate Street Fighter with a passion. I cannot stand two dimensional Beat-Em-Ups, Soul Calibur IV is my favourite Beat-Em-Up of all time, nothing will beat it, aside from Soul Calibur V!
