[Vortez] Corsair Obsidian 650D Review - Page 4

I am receiving this case today, from Newegg. I paid $149.99+ $20 shipping. (I got $50 off my order ^.^).

We shall see how it is. I've used the 800D case, it has a very nice design, but as mentioned already a couple parts are a little flimsy.

I'll probably put the windowed door on the backside of the case facing the wall... assuming the doors are swappable.

Actually

I just happened to receive a 650D this morning and the side panels are indeed swappable!

I just received it yesterday, and yeah I found out they were. Lol.

Nice case, a bit flimsy though.

For what I paid for this corsair I would have expected quality of a Lian Li. I didn't get half of that.

Still a fun case though, just not worth the over...WAY over priced tag on it.
I think you got a defective case. Loved my 800D and the quality was great.

I put in some time with this one as well and the only two things wrong with it that I could find was that when you move the top drive cage to the bottom of the case, you can't access the bottom tray. The other thing, and it was a minor annoyance, is that the power, reset, HDD LED, etc leads are all black and not labeled that well. I connected them all properly except for one. Not a big deal.

Easily one of my top 3 cases. It rocked my socks.
