No, ive not done a fresh install at all. lol. ALSO, when I boot up the PC. before it comes to the welcome login screen for windows 7, sometimes the screen might be black :S lol

Theres your problem right there.

You have to reinstall a fresh copy of windows when you change out the mobo. Or else youll get issues like these.

It might be windows as the other day windows said my version of windows is not genuine. Had to call Microsoft to get it validated because of the changes to windows from the new hardware.

hmmm.

I have left all the overclocking/volts and stuff all to default or auto. I hope it's none of that stuff to mess around with.

so caliber, if you have an extra HDD lying around, before doing that clean install of windows. You can try doing a clean install on a spare HDD. If that fixes your issues then you know thats definitely what you need. If it doesnt, then you can start looking at potential hardware issues....
