Any measurements of reference 460, 560, 560ti lengths?

Thread Starter
Is there any site that has given the measurement of the new 560 length yet compared to that of the 460 and reference 560ti?

Possibly somewhere in this article, seems to be the most detailed one so far.

Quote:
Zotac’s entry measures 9" x 4 ½", about three-quarters of an inch longer than a reference GeForce GTX 460
Quote:
Asus’ card shares the same 9" x 4 ½" PCB as Zotac's board
This one seems to have the cooling solution going past the end of the board itself.

At 9” long the MSI card may stick to the reference length but it uses slightly higher end components than some other cards. Supposedly, this will increasing longevity and overclocking headroom.

So, reference GTX 560 is 9"

Nvidia actually didn't make a reference design for the GTX560 (non-Ti). It's totally up to the board partners what to do. Tom's Hardware said the Zotac GTX560 AMP and Asus GTX560 TOP DCII have a PCB length of about 9 inches. So you'd probably have to add a little to the 9 inches for the bracket at the back. Strangely Nvidia lists the GTX560 length at 8.25 inches which is the same as the GTX550 Ti, though I'm not sure why since they don't have a reference design.

Zotac’s entry measures 9" x 4 ½", about three-quarters of an inch longer than a reference GeForce GTX 460. As usual, the AMP! Edition designates the company’s premium overclocked offering. This card's 950/1100 MHz core and memory clocks are 160 and 98 MHz above Nvidia's reference specifications, respectively.

Asus’ card shares the same 9" x 4 ½" PCB as Zotac's board. It's heavier, and feels a little sturdier, perhaps due to the DirectCU II metal fan shroud. Core and memory clocks of 925 and 1050 MHz are significantly higher than the 810/1002 MHz reference specification.
