If it was just the game I wouldn't mind so much, but restarting the whole thing is pretty annoying. Randomly the video output turns off, then a second later the PC shuts down. I have 11.5 Drivers installed if that helps.

My gf's PC does this exact same thing when we try to play guild wars. Weirdly, the only thing that helps is turning off her speakers. I don't pretend to understand it, but that seems to keep the game going.
Both of you have bad PSUs most likely, DayoftheGreek you especially. The reason why disabling speakers is not causing it is because that's lowering the overall wattage of the computer, so the PSU has less load.

You don't say?
So in this month alone 2 games have had serious issues with ATI/AMD.
2) Witcher 2
And people still hate on me when I say I will never buy another AMD/ATI product until they fire their entire software development team. Can't remember the last game I couldn't play at launch because of NVIDIA driver issues.

Your temps will almost instantly drop a good 10-15C by the time you see your temps. Log your temps with a program, only way you can really judge temps.Edited by Murlocke - 5/17/11 at 5:32pm
