NZXT Phantom vs CM Storm Enforcer

Hi, I know what you're thinking of the title.... Storm Enforcer vs Phantom... what is this idiot thinking!!!

I really want to get rid of my CM Elite 310 because...well you guys know why wink.gif

My question here today is, is it worth it to pay around $70 more for the Phantom?

-Both cases are tool-less
-Both support 12"+ Graphics cards
-Both have good cooling (for their size)

Could you guys explain why I should or should not buy the Phantom over the Storm Enforcer.

Thank you

All I have had is problems with my Phantom case and case fans.

And while their custom service is good with working with you they have sent me the wrong fan once, another broken fan once and didn't send me a fan two times so I had to re-RMA it waiting longer.

Not worth the hassle imo, because I've had small plastic parts break off case also.

But it is a good case overall, but if I could go back when I was buying a case I would have chosen something different if I knew I would have had all these problems. But that is just me I know there is a lot of happy Phantom owners I for one am just very unlucky I guess.

Just like bob said, there are lot of happy owners. I am one of them. I have only broken one thing and it was completely my fault. I got a new fan controller from them for free, and I couldn't be happier with the case. I know a lot of people have had problems with RMAs, but that can happen with any company.

If you are going to be water cooling, I would look into a better case, but between the two, the phantom is the better I think. I would really just get the one you like best looks wise and which ever one you can get cheaper. They are both great looking cases.

I'm leaning towards the Phantom. I have a question about the intake on the front and the intake on the top. Since the mesh only cover half of the fan and the other half is covered in plastic, does it affect air flow a lot?

the top is for exhuast and the plastic doesn't effect it because there is a large gap between the fans and the mesh so it all goes out the mesh.

same with the front intake. the phantom has the side panel and front as intake and then uses the rear and top as exhaust.

ohh... and one more question (Sorry to bother you), does the NZXT Phantom come with sleeved cable extensions? Like the 24 Pin motherboard and the other ones? Like those on top
