My popcorn was ready/lol "j/k, but it did pop. Computer still turned on though (still works like if nothing ever happend), but now i'm wondering if this could have damaged my cpu also in some way, so before this issue continues even more, i'm going to the store to buy my self and new mobo and exchange the processor thats still under store return policy.

Any advicezed mobo's that run AMD/SLI with good quality mosfets?
Gigabyte and ASUS....there no others....ASRock is the ginger kid of the mobo manufacturers..

If not i'll have to do some amd/sli digging around mom and pop stores.
Yeah, compUSA never has anything in stock, and in-store prices never match on-line ones. Every time i go there i feel like I'm going to the bastard child of newegg and bestbuy.

Edit: comp lists that EVO as online only... several Florida stores list the M4N75TD as "limited stock"though. I don't know much about nvidia chipsets but I'm assuming 750a is a bit worse then 980a.

Your CPU temps are fine. Your TMPIN2 (MOSFETs) are not, passing 100C is some more than 20C over what I would consider unsafe. I can half expect this due to having an MSI board on 4+1 phase with somewhat lowish quality, trying to power perhaps the most VRM-heavy (and most failure-prone on MSI boards, many of which don't usually fail with x4 but do on x6) AMD chip ever at 1.5V, with OC, and with no airflow getting to the area due to tower cooling. Though the trends on MSI board VRM failures have not been seen by I and other members on this particular board, I do urge you to take caution esp. with the TMPIN2 passing temps like this. You should back it down and avoid catastrophe! - and get a new board

EDIT:

NOOOOO too late
Most VRM failures do not take out other components. Worst case scenario... PSU. More worst case scenario... other parts through PSU. VRM failures aren't necessarily uber-catastrophic blowups, they can fail in many ways - sometimes silently. A good way to test is removing 8-pin/4-pin CPU connector and seeing if board will boot (if it doesn't before and it shouldn't); if it does..... (though it won't POST), your VRMs have probably long been enjoying their time in the afterlife
If you have a look at my article (previously linked) there is a long list of confirmed failures/horror stories (Currently being slowly moved onto a new list), there are many of them; many of them also happen to involve various different MSI AMD boards unfortunately.

Running at 2500MHz nb, 15.5x multiplier, 2000MHz HyperTransport, getting effective clock of 3875MHz, been under load stable for 2 hours now with prime95, max temp is 45C, voltage is set to 1.375v and aida64 says it's taking 1.428v, to get 4GHz i would bump the multi up to 16x, and up the voltage to 1.4, it would take about 1.45v in aida, this is my sig rig, same cpu as the one in question, cooled by a thermaltake frio with arctic silver 5

As far as a good board, asus series 890FX boards should work for you. I've been through 3 motherboards so far, first was a 4+1 phase gigabyte, died within a month, second was an msi 890gxm-g65, 4+1 phase also, refunded that when i learned how horrible the mosfets are, and got the one i have now. The one i have now is very good imo. It has overvolt protection and 8+2 phase, and i have not had any issues with overclocking so far. I also believe you can get sli working on these motherboards (it may require a hack of some sort, but I'm sure it can be done).

New board with load temps, so far I've left it over night on prime95 running. No BSOD! Success! What do you guys think of the temps? ended up going with the
ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3, Great board out of the box! Was looking at the new boxes from MSi when I was at the store, they almost sold me another MSi board, they do have those military standard components now. Think they may have solved their bad quality mosfets with the "military class standard boards?" Like the MSi 890FXa-GD65?

Anyways here's my screenshot what do you guys think?

I have the same issue, and same board. WE CAN DO THIS JINX!! haha I'm currently exactly where you are.

The only thing I changed before this run is disabled Turbo Core, Now instead of jumping to 1.538v I never go beyond 1.500v. Now it just goes between 1.488 and 1.500 during prime95 blend.

Cool! Post a CPUID Screenshot! How do you have HT and CPU-NB? Was playing with Multiplayer only, going to try and lower Multiplayer and up FSB.
