Welcome to OCN thumb.gif

If it only happens w/V-sync on, it's nothing wrong w/your hardware.

1st thing is to try enabling Triple Buffering in the Control Panel.

If that doesn't work, you'll need to get D3DOverrider to properly force triple-buffering, which is part of the Rivatuner package. Let me know if you need help w/that, it's pretty simple to get it working.

Also, in the future please do your best to use proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar (such as capitalizing the first letter of new sentences) when participating in Overclock.net. It's part of the Terms of Service that you agreed to when you signed up smile.gif

run memtest overnight to check if that is the problem and run prime95 tests to see if it is the cpu and such

It's Asus GamerOSD that is causing the problem. Did the same thing to me and took forever to figure it out. For me, I was able to trigger the drops at will just by spinning the camera, and it would do it on occasion for no clear reason.

Uninstall GamerOSD from the Add/Remove Programs panel, even if you don't have it running, it makes registry changes that cripple the card. No idea why Asus has it on the disc or in the same file with Smartdoctor.

Having vsync enaled will drop down the fps to 30 if your closer to 30 fps than your are to 60fps .. remember that.

If your doing 45fps , it will drop to 30fps to keep the frames in a smooth motion .

if your not getting 60fps , theres no way it could keep your frames in sync @ 60fps so it drops to 30 which it can .

I suggest trying out those games with vsync totally disabled , 100% sure that is your problem here ..

either that or drivers , update to the latest nvidia drivers .

goodluck

ty for all the help but like i said,

vync off or on the problem still there
i know the fps will drop simetime because of all the environement and all
with vync off my fps in bfbc2 is around 120 going down to to 80 and up its normal i know that
but what i mean is (exemple) in league of legend (this game dont need a good card to play) my fps is high high and bang its drop very very low all of sudden freezing my screen /lagspike so during that time my sound spike/and my game stop and then fps go back up and i can continue playing

i did do some stress test with OCCT and everything was fine,i may try thos program that Apocalypse say,

Okay, I understand, but I'm certain that you know the basics: The first letter of a sentence should be Capitalized. You are French Canadian, not french canadian. When you speak of yourself, say "I", not "i". Don't use numbers instead of words like "no1" instead of "no one". And don't randomly start new lines in the middle of sentences.

I'm not trying to pick on you, it's just 'the rules', you understand? You don't have to be perfect, just at least try, okay? smile.gif

So, back to the problem. Did you install the OS yourself, or did it come pre-installed? Do you have the Windows disc? Is there any extra garbage software installed that they put on the PC at the shop?

If you go into the Performance tab in Task Manager, does the graph of CPU usage look normal? Are there only small occasional spikes in CPU usage when the PC is not doing anything, in other words, most of the time you're at 0-2% usage?
