Forgot to add the HSF
XIGMATEK Gaia SD1283 120mm

Total 744.41

I'm not in to overclocking yet(Learning). Tryin to stay below $750. Anything I should switch out? Sorry for the small image.

Looks good, I would personally go for a WD caviar blue over the seagate though

My recommendations:
  • Take an ASRock 890GX PRO3. AM3+ expandability and other new features such as UEFI BIOS, while retaining CrossfireX 8x-8x, for the same price. New 32nm AMD AM3+ FX-Series processor (Bulldozer 4-8 core) will be out next month
  • Sapphire HD 5830 for $110 - that's right, 5830 for cheaper than 5770. These cards are ridiculously overclockable beasts that somewhat neck-in-neck with GTX 460 and now go for a great price.
  • Rosewill Green 530W is a significantly better PSU for lower price... Corsair CX is very low quality, while this (despite the Rosewill branding) is actually very good; the Rosewill Green series recommended by many top PSU gurus on this site, and I often recommend it myself for the great price.
  • 2X Hard drive space for an extra $5 only
  • I'm not a fan of the HAF 912 at that price point. Take an NZXT M59. Significantly better in terms of airflow, layout, has black interior, has side window, great build quality... for $50 + $4 shipping
  • Windows 7 very slightly cheaper on this site

Hope that saved you some good cash

get this ram
Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model KHX1600C9D3B1K2/4GX
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820104203
great for overclocking
can run at 1600 cl8-8-8-24

and the f3 1tb drive
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822152185

and a better gpu
5830 for $110
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102878

if the new account code still works, you can get $10 off each order $50+
can save ya more cash

if the build is for college, look into getting discounts on windows from your school

Only issue I have is your HDD. You can get 2x more space for not a lot of extra money PLUS I dislike Seagate brand HDD's... sorry

Looks alright to me, with the changes suggested, But I would strongly recommend that you wait the month it will be before bull dozer hits, I would imagine you will see a big decrease in phenom pricing.

I had a Seagate Barracuda as my OS drive and it took up to a minute to create a new folder. I switched over to WD and it's a much better experience. I would like to try one of those Samsung HDDs but that'll have to wait until next pay.

Thanks for pointing out the 5830 xd_1771 I'll be getting that!.
Humm I not really sure about the rosewill psu. I was told to stay away from Raidmax, rosewill, apex, Apevia, and others... If it's that good then maybe.
I really have no use for 1tb, but w/e doesn't hurt to have more space.
I like the style of the CM case so I'll stick with it.

Whats wrong with seagate? Is it that firmware issue they had awhile back with their older drives?

Ok I replace somethings. I think I'll hold back for that monster Bulldozer chip. Gives me more time to scoop more cash.

Already happening, I just looked for a 1100t (Bought mine less than 2 months ago) and its $199 and comes with a $10 gift card. Mine was $220 oh so recently.

The recommendation's by the people here are excellent. They have you performing better at the same price. Win.

Yea waiting is good 1ijoe, You can prob get something like my sigrig for $800 before you know it.

( Just go lighter on the PSU mine's $150 :X )

Ask PSU gurus on this site such as Tator Tot and Phaedrus1214, they will recommend the Rosewill Green series at a good price. The Rosewill Green series is one of the few exceptions in quality, much better than a Corsair CX (which is actually lower quality than usual).

I don't have an issue with Seagate, I've never had problems with Seagate drives and they're fairly fast & reliable
