At 4.0 Max temp would be 52-3c , Wich from my knowledge is very cool , i got a Antec 1200 case with all fans going when i do "stress" tests so for a stock cooler it stay's pretty cool , GPU temp go's to about 55-7c max on stress tests as well.

ok Give me a bit to read over the threads or do you feel like telling me whats going on?

under 60C, excellent. Have you verified this performance degradation in other benchmarking software? I prefer passmark, but it's up to you. Run 1 CPU and 1 3D test stock, then each OC'd. At least then you'll know whether or not it's actually botching GPU performance when CPU is oc'd, or if it's only a 3dmark problem.

ok what is your cpu/nb set at? now I am not to savvy on the MSI bios so but on a AMD chip there is cpu speed cpu/nb speed HT speed and memory speed you my new friend are having a bottleneck and we need just to find it and then things will be better you are not from what it looks like having a RMA problem

he has a AMD chip which MAX is 65C on the cores so 60C is not excellent but passable he should not be up that high at his clock though, I am not picking a fight just letting you know the AMD temps

I also ran a Vantage Test and it comes in ABOVE the rest
Shouldn't be a bottleneck then if it's only doing this in one benchmark tool. I would still try others to verify though such as heaven 2.5.

I need all his spec's to be 100% sure but still from the reads on this thread it does sound like a bottleneck because if you go up and scores go down that screams bottleneck or bad drivers but as I aid would like to see his settings

Go for it man. Getting NB to 2800 sure wouldn't hurt anything provided the board is capable. (I dunno beans about MSI boards)

They are both set at 2000hz if my memory serves me right. I put them back to "stock" once i started having this "issue". When OC'ing using FSB ( 240 ) i found better CPU results in the benchmark when just moving the multiplier. But i believe when i was at 240 FSB the NB was at 2200 , and HT was still at 2000hz , Memory was set @ 1600 , Using the 1:3 Divider if i remember right

CPU Performance is Scaling as it should it seems. +1000 In 3dMark 11 , But I dont understand why it is directly impacting the GPU going down.
