Wireless Connection Disconnects

Thread Starter
I own the Dlink DIR 655 router and I cannot seem to get my router to reach my room sometimes. Sometimes it works but sometimes the connection will just go away, and I would have to get closer to connect. But when I go back to my room it disconnects again. I get about 2-3 bars for my wireless signal in my room but it won't allow me to connect to the router. I would have to get closer to the router just to connect. I cannot move the router closer either. It's kinda annoying and I don't mess with the router settings. Only changed port forward settings.

Try a more powerfully PCI/USB adapter. Like the ALFA adapters from data-alliance.net. They're sexy..
