What should I set my RAM voltage to for SB?

Thread Starter
Mine is rated at 1.5v, but I've been told to set it to 1.6v because of the timings (which is also what it's rated at).

However, some people saying having it at 1.6v could damage the IMC.

I'm not sure who to listen to =(

Help?

Set your ram to its specified voltage.

"Memory Voltage - Intel recommend 1.50v plus/minus 5% which means upto 1.58v is the safe recommended limit. In our testing we have found 1.65v has caused no issues."

Here's the thread: http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...take-note.html

Personally I wouldn't go over 1.6v based on Intel's recommendation, and I don't think you'll need to, even with your timings.

I've been running 1.612 for almost 4 months or so with no problems
