Every single other benchmark disagrees with that.

Its not your hardware, as far as models go. It could be your hardware is bad, or something with your overclock.

Try going back to stock clocks and voltages and see how you score. The only other thing I could imagine would be driver issues, so even though they are fresh, I'd try reinstalling after a driver sweep.

EDIT: after running the test myself, its weird, I would say your results are accurate and his are distorted somehow. See how his image manipulation tests skyrocket? And My web browsing scores were closer to yours, I don't know how he managed to get that high. Something's fishy...

Well it's not the hardware or the overclocks because at those settings i was able to get 8th World record in PCMark Vantage on HWbot on the same day (After the PCMark 7 run on same install) and quite a lot of people with high end gear i.e 990x and so on are getting around the 6k mark.

What amazes me is that this guy, with an i7-860 @4Ghz and a GTX570 has absolutely smashed everyone .

My first thought was that he dropped the iamge quality settings to Performance in the Nvidia control panel, but that shouldn't give him that much of a boost in the DX9 tests. And if he was running a RAM drive he would have crushed my 2x SSD in RAID0 in the storage tests, but he didn't.

I don't know, but what ever it is he has done has really gave him an impressive score.

This is very strange! Some type of file compression related to Active X before running maybe.

Will do some testing myself to try and solve.

I'll be interested in seeing how it works out for you.

For reference here is my Stock score against my best score (Only exception is that i'm running 1x SSD on the stock run vs 2x SSD RAID 0 on the overclocked run)

Fair enough still strange though because mine was on a fresh hour old install of W7 with IE9, SP1, 2600k @ 5.4Ghz, 1866Mhz DDR3, 2x SSD Raid 0. Lol.

Maybe there is an update or something. Maybe a different scoring system betwnn standard and advanced...i really dont know. On my first run i got 6614 without SP1 installed.

Now dont take this personally, but my system 'should' beat yours in PCMark...no disrespect intended of course. I just wish i knew why. Over at Xtremesystem a guy with an 980x and a vertex 3 and SLI got 6400 points and he should really beat me!

Very strange.
