Vertex 3 Max IOPS: odd WEI score...

I got a replacement V3 last week since my first drive had stability issues, and so far it's been solid. It actually benches slightly higher than my old drive in ATTO... BUT, my WEI with this drive is only 7.8...

With my old drive it was 7.9 and this is the exact same model with a fresh Win7 install. I installed it in AHCI mode, hot plugging enabled, and I'm using the latest Intel RST drivers for my chipset from MSI.

I know WEI is pretty much useless, but shouldn't the same hardware get the same score? What gives?

You know that WEI stands for Windows Excessively Inaccurate score don't you.

You got it in one tbh, WEI is crap and useless. You're high enough for all the bells and whistles of Aero so I wouldn't worry tbh, I know that's not what you want to hear but it's the best you'll get sorry.

As petty and e-peenish as it is, I actually kinda miss my 7.9...

Though not having lock ups and BSODs every other day has been nice. Stupid WEI!
