Overclocked too far, how do i get back?

Hey guys, i just overclocked my 7600GS (don't laugh) from 400MHz up, i started at the default 400MHz memory and gpu, and went up 10MHz at a time, playing some cod @ the same time. everything was great stable until i got to 500MHz and left it there for a while. about 5 minutes later, i got white speckles on my screen, and crashed. now i have to use another user on this pc to use it, any idea on how i can lower the frequency a bit for my other user? thanks

PS, i'm using MSI afterburner

What application were you using? You should be able to do a reg edit to remove the overclock or just uninstall the overclocking applications. MSI afterburner for example.

Comps

EDIT - Push and hold control when logging into windows, that'll stop the overclock.

mhmm, what do i do with regedit to remove the oc?

Just push and hold CTRL when logging into windows, that'll stop it automatically applying the overclock.

Then go in, delete the overclocked profile and try again.

IDK if this will work but you could just take out your card, afterburner will then say no hardware detected. Upon doing that you uninstall afterburner and reinstall your card.
