How to reach 5Ghz with Sabertooth mobo?? - Page 2

Every guide I have seen says that if a chip gets into Windows at a certain multi then the chip should be able to be stabilized at that multi, then they say to set vrm freq to 350, v to 1.5, multi to 50 and see what happens.

yeah vrm at 350, llc and crap at high (extreme).
I needed a min of 1.40 to get to 4.9ghz, so far stable, but temps a little high (70's) I was able to get to 4.8 @3.6 but I guess I'm closing in on the chips limit as it crashes booting into to windows at 5.0 and 1.44v (not pushing further until I get better cooling).
I"ll double check my settings when I get home tonight and post em up.

At least 1.4V usually. I had to do 1.43V for 5Ghz. Some do it at lower temps and some just won't do it at all(rare).
