I'm only worried because this setup has been soo stable, and never hit those temps before

just a little bit, prob the same as i originally used, which was awesome for years
also i can hear/see the cooling fan working, speeding up as it always has, but at max fan speed it never got over 62C even on full load, stress testing

yeah,

Coretemp is reporting correctly. I'd probably ease back a bit, it's an old processor and might be nearing it's end of life.

4ghz is nice though.

Thanks, I hit 4Gz on my first try, with i reasonably low v.core of 1.33V, I was stoked that i could keep up with my mates, who all seem to have brought I7's when they came out
