Installing Mobo drivers after Windows service pack 2?

I was flipping through my motherboard manual (m4a79xtd evo) because I was re-formatting.

It says " Ensure that you install the Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later versions before installing the drivers for better compatibility and system stability."

I installed Windows 7 64bit, but installed the drivers almost immediately upon getting to my desktop. Can I remove the drivers and re-install again or does this even matter/apply?

If you've installed the latest drivers then I doubt it's a problem, And

This is for windows XP, not windows 7.

If you're really worried then just update windows 7 with all the hotfixes etc and install the chipset drivers.

In all honesty though, if you're up and running then I wouldn't worry.

OK, so if I was really anal, I just could REMOVE the drivers I installed, and now that I have Windows 7 all updated, re-install the Drivers, so it's in the properly chronological order? This would suffice?

What exactly do you need to know ,i don t understand .

Drivers in Windows 7 don t need the same attention as in XP ,where you need to install them in a specific order to get the installation right.

Just install motherboard drivers - > network - > video -> sound .The SP1 patch for W7 will install just fine either way ,before or after the drivers.
