HD Switched from SATA to SCSI???

So I have a Hitachi 2TB drive and when I hooked up my friends laptop hard drive on to take his get his files off of it(Wouldn't boot because of virus on his laptop) my main OS Hitachi 2TB drive always boots to BIOS asking what drive I want to select(All USB disconnected and boot order with my OS Hitachi drive being #1, everything else disabled). With that said, all of my other drives are listed as SATA, but now my Hitachi OS drive is listed as "SO Hitachi....", not "SATA Hitachi" which it should. Also, I just found out that my Hitachi drive is under my "Safely remove hardware & Eject Media" list as a SCSI drive, where flash drives/external drives, etc would be.

Would appreciate any help, thanks

I'm not sure how I can really explain it more than I already have unfortunately. Not to sure as to where the issue occurred, but it happened when I hooked up a friend's laptop hard drive. Basically my OS hard drive is showing up as something that I can "remove safely" like a flash drive and not as a sata drive. This I believe is causing my boot issue where I always have to select a drive to boot from, even when I disable everything other than the OS drive itself. I apologize, I wish I could explain it better I never had an issue like this.
