[sweclockers] the new Corsair Hydro H100 and H80 Cpu Coolers - Page 16

Whenever this comes out, someone should do a comparison between the H100 and the CoolIT ECO 240.

With the same fans.

Well ,Looks like my Next build is covered for Cpu cooling.H-100 will hook it up!!!! I have never assembled a custom loop piecemeal. This will make life a lot easier !!! Seems easier than trying to figure out pumps ,radiators ,fans ,tubes clamps ,coolant ,blocks, ect.

Just make sure that there is sufficent room between your motherboard. Im on Tapatalk so I cant see your case.

Hope that helps, when the specs are released we can find the width of the Rad and you can check if it fits 100%
Just got home from work myself, and yeah my case has 2x200mm (with support for 2x120mm I think too), was just worried about the slight gap between the two openings; not a problem really, about time I started modding this thing.

Definitely getting the H100 if the price won't be overkill.

Does anyone know exactly how much this will run on US dollars?

I wished the pump wasn't on the cpu block. Not only is it inducing heat in the look, which is unavoidable, but it's putting straight over the cpu.

I would imagine that the heat output on a pump as small and "weak" as the ones used in AiO kits would raise temps by a couple of degrees at the most over time. Besides, they put it on the block out of design necessity. If they put it on the radiator, that further alienates the number of cases that can use their AiO solution.

function > form any day of the week. The pump is also small enough to fit inside the cavity of the radiator without much ado.

For most consumers Form > Functionality actually. Most people seem to genuinely care that their products look good or clean, which is why certain brands sell so well. I understand where you are coming from however, as for the most part, I am the same way. That is why I had a quad radiator in my previous computer along with a decked out loop. As far as the pump in the radiator, I am slightly skeptical that they can fit it in there without losing space, but if they can, more power to them!

The entire concept behind a sealed loop like the H100 is form > function.

For function > form, you gotta piece it together yourself.
