I'm getting impatient waiting for the H100.

That review is useless when each cooler in the comparison is using different fans.

Straight out-of-the-box performance is probably how the vast majority of people are going to use it. That isn't useless.

Corsair H80 does indeed look promising at those temperatures and overclocked speeds. However I would like to see how the H100 compares to the H80 at that overclock with Third party coolers for a proper comparison.

The type of people spending $100+ for these coolers are probably going to have good aftermarket fans. We aren't talking about budget coolers here. These are top end coolers marketed at overclockers (people who like to tweak their systems).

The fans included are pretty good...

Its not like the H50 when good after market fans are needed. Im buying a H80 and looking at that review I wont be buying aftermarket fans, the included fans are all thats needed.

P.S. I love how you explained "overclockers" on "overclock.net" made me giggle a bit!

Some people seem to forget that. When you are talking about people in the market for an $80 cooler odds are they have good fans sitting around, better than what comes with any of these coolers. I know that I do and I have even more on the way from the group buy.

I don't see how comparing a bunch of coolers with different fans is a valid comparison. In any study you want to eliminate as many variables as possible.

I'm not saying don't test the stock fans but swap them out and do an apples to apples comparison.

Look at how well the H50 does in this comparison against the H70 when using the same fans.

This wait for the h100 is getting sad.
Nobody has one, or has reviewed one, and they supposedly were for sale some time ago.
I'm starting to look very seriously at a RASA kit.

They are shipping right now to our hubs, and from there, review units and reseller units will be sent out.

Is this for the H100 or the Link Kits?
