We owners who bought this crap at launch deserve something
We've had a working console since launch, I think that's pretty good. At least we haven't had to mail out five different Xboxes because of RROD.

very true. although it might be because i havent played it enough to "overheat" it? or what ever is causing those RROD's

EDIT: im still lost though? so i go buy a new xbox game and see if this supports my xbox? after tommorows update im gonna go buy L.A Noir hopefully it dosent work.

Pray with me lol. I might actually play the xbox if i get the new one with the wireless. hate pulling my cord from my room to living room.

I thought this was only for people who are in the beta, the one that is testing the new disc format.

The whole article is incorrect in thinking it is that update that is causing the issues to begin with as I stated in an earlier post.

Apparently you're the one who didn't read the whole thread.
So is metroidfreak, who seems to be a beta tester, wrong then?

There isn't a way to know for sure which systems will be taken out until the update is actually done, unless you open up your system. Atleast as far as I know, there isn't.

People need to simmer down in here, or there's going to be some people permanently not reading this thread...

I have no problems with MS from my experience, 2 xboxs, one was 05 the other 06, the 06 one finally croaked last feb, mailed it in with the sticker literally being held with scotch tape lulz (I doubt they care, or maybe I lucked out.). They sent me a new one, the whole process was about 12 days.
