Gigabyte 560Ti OC non stop 3d profile

Thread Starter
Today I changed my Gigabyte GTX 460 1GB OC to a new Gigabyte GTX 560Ti OC model.
After cleaning drivers, installing new GTX 560Ti I have a non stop full power 3d in Idle (without even Firefox, ThunderBird) as seen on picture below, my old GTX 460 was going into 2d profile with lower voltage, core and memory clock but new 560Ti isn`t.
What should I do to fix this problem?

I acquired a PNY 560 Ti yesterday and mine doesn't go into the 2D profile either. However, this is a product of two things: I have dual monitors and one of them is a 120Hz LCD. Apparently it's some sort of a driver thing where some of these NV cards can't handle dual monitor setups and 120Hz LCDs in their 2D settings.

It could be one of those two things.

You are right! I`m also using 2 monitors but my second LCD is also 60Hz type, but the result is the same, when using both LCD as dualview there is no 2d profile, only 3d full power profile for all the time.
But when I switch to only 1 LCD view mode than 2d / 3d profile is working good.

krameriffic and lightsout what nvidia driver are you using?
I use latest beta Nvidia GeForce Beta 275.27 maybe it is because of that.
EDIT:
Tested also on 270.61 Driver without any difference. I think it is something wrong with BIOS of this 560Ti.

Do you use some king of gadgets on the desktop that show GPU load, temp etc.? If yes try to disable the gadgets and see if it resolves. Gadgets sometimes probe too much the GPU and don't allow it to fall to less speeds.

It's more the dual monitors than the 120Hz. You can play a fun game and just unhook one of the monitors from the video card and watch your idle temperature plummet 30C. However, 2 monitors won't affect your load temperatures at all.

As Krameriffic said it is only effecting your idle temps and power usage but if you'd like to try changing it then here is the relevant thread.

Yes or you can just disable sli to get the same affect.
