Laptop for Gaming + Work - Page 2

Your best bet would likely be a Clevo-based system. In the US, Sager is the big name in that market. I don't know about the UK market, though, but the place to ask would be here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/ Good luck, mate!

You can get a killer laptop from Sager for something around $1500 and you'll be drawing crowds.
Because I have never used Sager, and I will not recommend a product that I have not used myself.

That's extremely one-sided of you. You're not the ultimate reviewer or the final say. Recommend something that you haven't used. I don't use Sager, yet people take my advice and get one, then thank me for suggesting that computer because it's amazing. I use Toshiba primarily, yet I don't offer/suggest it to anyone because what I wanted in a PC was different from what everyone else wants.

Learn to be a bit more diverse in suggestions. Most people like ASUS, haven't met more than one or two people who don't. But the majority of people on OCN don't like Dell. Do a little research for the person who's asking, like showing a link to the product, like this: Sager NP8170 or by showing a review about the laptop like this: .

I don't really care what you think of me or what you have to say. I wont recommend something I haven't used. Reviews can be biased. I will not tell someone "Oh yes buy that yes best laptop in the world" when I haven't used one myself. Sorry, but no matter what you say or call me I will not change my opinion for you.

wow, now that i know just expressing an opinion is up for harsh reviews and criticism i'll think twice about taking part in anything here, zoinks!!

I've taken a long good look at sager, but the import costs and tax for it to be shipped to the UK would be huge.

Looking at Alienware currently.

Also the ASUS G73SW.

But most likely M17x with a GTX460M and 1080p screen.
