Where do you get 0.760kW*Hour*Day, wheres the 760 bit coming from?
My bad, I thought you had two of each GPU.

kW came from (Wattage of GTX275s)+(Wattage of GTX460s).

So instead of ~760W it should be (220W)+(2x160W)=540W=.540kW

Therefore, .540*24*30=388kWhr per month @0.17 per kWhr=66.096 GBP per month. This assumes your're using all 3 cards 24/7 at full bore all month long...like I presume a folder with your ranking does. So this is worst-case at stock speeds/voltages...it also assumes that your PSU is 100% efficient.

*Presuming I'm interpreting your usage scale from your electric company correctly.

well my bro uses his pc for mild gaming stuff like that, mines the electricity muncher though, i was just using his as example as ive only downlocked his so far.

So if say my i7 920 has wattage or around 150watts, plus 1 gtx 460 at 160W and 1 gtx 465 at ~200W, thats gonna be 150+160+200=.510kW.

So that means in 1 hour i use 0.51kW?

Roughly yes.

1) We are for the moment ignoring how (in)efficient your power supply is. We are assuming in these maths so far that if your CPU needs 150W it can draw exactly that out of the wall, with no loss in the transformers in the PSU. We could factor it in with some guesstimates. Your PSU is rated for 80+ Silver efficiency, however that "standard" only specifies 3 specific points of reference for that rating.

2) We are ignoring power draw from things like computer monitors (which can draw considerable levels of power) and/or peripherals

3) We also ignore any extra money on your cooling bill in air conditioning etc.

If you want to know for certain, you need to get a good power meter to measure draw at the outlet. Post o'er in the PSUs board for recommendations.

Right i get ya...well I just worked out mine now. My Bill for 90 days was £308. I also used the estimate of 11 pence per kW. So my pc uses around half a kW per hour, or 1 kW/2 hours, or 5 pence an hour. Say I leave my pc on for 24 hours, thats £1.20 a day, totalling maximum of £36 a month...thats a hell of a lot considering my bill is 100 a month, now i know i dont leave my pc on full whack folding 24/7 for 30 days, but I imagine my power draws will be considerably higher when i do leave it folding....:O

I just checked with a watt meter, running smp folding my i7-950 system takes 231 W from wall at stock settings. Overclocked to 4 GHz (23 * 175) power usage goes to 291 W.
