Remaking Classic games.

A lot of movies have been remade or even digitally remastered. 3D games are a lot newer than movies so not many have been remade yet. I think it would be great to have some all time classic games that we loved (or still do) to be recreated to look like a game that just came out.

Story line is definitely the biggest and most important part of a game, but let's face it, the visual quality of a game has a lot of importance as well.

What are your opinions on it, do you think some games should be remade to suit how powerful our technology is getting? which games do you think would have successful remakes?

some games i think would be successful: half-life, mafia, counter-strike

Ever heard about the Retro Remake competition? A bunch of developers would come together and craft remakes of all their favorite games from back in the day.

They took games from every console possible, from the Atari 2600 to the ZX Spectrum. It used to be a huge deal years ago but sadly, faded away.

Here's the site, you can still download the games, there's HUNDREDS!

I would love to see cs:s remade. Or another installment that doesn't stray too far but what I really would want is a remake of Final Fantasy 3 snes USA. Best game I ever played. Needs to be updated pronto!

The Incredible shrinking Fireman was my favourite on my Spectrum when I was a kid

In all seriousness, I would love to see some old games modernized, maybe complete remakes of the first 2 eldar scrolls.

lol If they remade Daggerfall, I'd crap some bricks.... Don't think a 500GB would hold the massive map and ever random terrain generator in it.
