How do you control the heat from folding?

Note: I don't fold, but I do something similar to folding that requires 24/7 GPU stress, and it is something I am not allowed to talk about.

Nevertheless I'm sure this is something all folders have experienced, and have found ways to circumvent.

It's summer, it's hot, and while folding during the day in a small room, heat is difficult to control. How do you folders control the amount of heat generated by your rig under 100% load during these situations? If it's in the evening, I generally open my window to let some of the heat out and let some cool air inside, but during the day it's much too warm outside and there isn't a very effective way to force the heat outside of my small (12'x12') office. I do have a ceiling fan but it doesn't do much. It just circulates the air that's already in the room, which is hot air generated by my PC. I do open the door, but then my two XFX GPU fans at 100% is audible from the other side of my house.

A window AC is an option, but not necessarily a cost-effective option.
I also have the option of tuning down my overclock, but after a certain amount of time, heat still builds up.

I am going to invest in better cooling, which will keep my components cooler but it won't help the amount of heat that is being expelled into my room.

Ideas?
