Well, if your going with EVGA, even is you do eventually dicide to go with water cooling (I will soon) they do have a step-up program that all you have to do is pay the difference and ship the GPU back, and you will get your hydro copper 2, or you can just order the water block, either way, your set. Water isn't even close to necessary, just helps your pc stay cool and makes your parts last longer (even when overclocking)

With EVGA, most parts have the lifetime warranty, so you wouldn't even need the life of the parts to be long, if they brake in 5 years, RMA! Just make sure to register the 580 the MOMENT you get it. (well, within 30 days)

But this is all hypothetical because you said you don't want to do it... I'm bored. lol, waiting for FFXIV to update, reinstalling because of my SSD.

i have searched far and wide to see if anyone has 590's in 4 way sli on the p55 classified, but nothing is out there i guess nobody wanted to take a chance and try it on the board and technically it can be done due to the 2 way sli bridge only required to sli these cards(hence 4 way sli on the P55 Classified) but i want to be sure if i am going to shell out 1800 bucks for 2 watercooled get ups. also the reviews for the 590's aren't that great coparison wise to the 580's. also i only have the coolermaster Silent pro 1000w psu and i really don't want to change it out because it fit into my case like a glove and it looks awsome. not to mention running pretty cool and quiet. that could be due to the fact i have 2 9800 gtx+' sli'd and my i7 860 oc'd to 4.2.

so here is my request from this forum. I want to upgrade and i know 590's are out because i don't have enough power to sli them and a single 590 is out because i don't like seeing only 1 slot occupied in my p55 classified 200 if thats all i wanted i would have got the p55 le or something like that, so 2 cards or more for me please.

so would i be able to 2 way sli with the 580 hydro coppers, Keep my overclock of 4.2 and instal a custom liquid cooling system from koolance with there 450 pump. for a full cpu and gpu loop. all powered by my 1000 watt cooler master silent pro. its a single rail design and has 967 watts on the single 12 v rail. and if possible still could i tri sli the 580's with that psu and keep my o'c. also i could change the 580's for the 480 hydro coppers in this set up if i had to

now my second choice is 3 570's on air and only my cpu will be liquid cooled, and keep my overclock.

i would really like to step up to 3 sli because i have not done so ever but i really want to go water cooled for both cpu and graphics cards. tough decision and i really only want to spend $1500-$2000 on this upgrade but if i had to i could go up another 5 bills, I think I could squeeze it out for the cause...

Any other suggestions are totally welcomed and will be seriously considered.

i also have 2-500g wd in a raido set up and 1-cd-rom and 1- dvd-rw;

Evga is the only company making Nvidia cards that I know of that will not void your warranty for installing after market cooling, you will have to reinstall the O.E. cooler if you need to RMA or decide to step up to a better card.
If you do RMA and it is determined that you damaged the card when installing the
after market cooling they will then void your warranty

If you look at all the benchmark websites the 590 is way down sometimes even below a gtx 570. Go with the 580 then maybe another in sli and you will love the card.

I know i havent got them but ive read countless reviews and watched countless videos of EVGA sli'd and it seem that 2 gtx 580 sli's is the way to go way better then the 590 apparently.....
Plus they are all saying its the least glitchy of all the EVGA cards and really good for OCing =]

Hope that helped

ive been posting all over trying to get feed back on myquestion so i guess i am just going to have to shoot first and ask questions later. I think i will go with the 2 580 hydro coppers ( not 3 gig models due to lower clock speeds) and a custom Koolance cooling system and then i guess if i cannot get back to my 4.2 overclock i will have to up grade my psu to a 1200w get up.

Ok, Just letting you know, the only reason the clock speed is lower, if because you are probably looking at the overclocked version of the card. You can easily do that yourself. There is no reason to go with the lower card if you plan on overclocking anyways. (anyone correct me if I am wrong)

And seeing as you are watercooling, you will be WAY past that overclock anyways.

Is there any indication of how easy the GTX580 is to OC, and how much gain we get from doing so ?

ive always done quite small OCing in the past but i think i might push it near to its limit =]
