Those are his core clock speeds , and memory clock speeds!

his card is overclocked to
1074mhz core clock speed / 2160mhz memory clock speed x2

my card is running stock at

772mhz core clock / 2004mhz memory clock speed x2

so here is my request from this forum. I want to upgrade and i know 590's are out because i don't have enough power to sli them and a single 590 is out because i don't like seeing only 1 slot occupied in my p55 classified 200 if thats all i wanted i would have got the p55 le or something like that, so 2 cards or more for me please.

so would i be able to 2 way sli with the 580 hydro coppers, Keep my overclock of 4.2 and instal a custom liquid cooling system from koolance with there 450 pump. for a full cpu and gpu loop. all powered by my 1000 watt cooler master silent pro. its a single rail design and has 967 watts on the single 12 v rail. and if possible still could i tri sli the 580's with that psu and keep my o'c. also i could change the 580's for the 480 hydro coppers in this set up if i had to

now my second choice is 3 570's on air and only my cpu will be liquid cooled, and keep my overclock.

i would really like to step up to 3 sli because i have not done so ever but i really want to go water cooled for both cpu and graphics cards. tough decision and i really only want to spend $1500-$2000 on this upgrade but if i had to i could go up another 5 bills, I think I could squeeze it out for the cause...

Any other suggestions are totally welcomed and will be seriously considered.

i also have 2-500g wd in a raido set up and 1-cd-rom and 1- dvd-rw;

1 - If you are worried that running two GTX580's along with everything else will be too taxing on your PSU and therefore not allow you to overclock your CPU back to 4.2Ghz, you should be fine unless you plan on raising the voltages on the GTX580's by a lot.

2 - The difference between SLI and Tri-SLI is only going to show in a three monitor setup or for benching.

3 - Get the GTX580 over the GTX480, there more efficient and run cooler in case you end up on air. Make sure you have at least a slot between them on your board so they can breath, unless you water cool them.

4 - Lastly, you can get a GTX580 stock cooler and an after market water block for less than the Hydrocoppers run. I like them and they are convenient, but you are paying to have them installed and if you ever decide to sell them it limits who can buy them since you do not have an air cooler for them.

Here are a few reviews on the SLI stuff:

http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/articl..._card_review/8 This is to show you power consumption.

http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/articl...rifire_review/

Don't worry about the comparison, just look at the SLI side to give you an idea of what you should expect. Also, take a look at this review:

http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/articl...trifire_redux/

Apparently, the GTX580's really need some CPU horsepower to give you the best performance and 4.2Ghz is not enough.

As far as GTX590's going pop, that was because reviewers were shoving 1.2v through them and expecting the VRM's to be able to handle it. They definitely do not overclock well compared to the GTX580's, but you are paying for a single slot dual gpu solution, it's that simple.

He also has a 980x running at 5.2Ghz under LN2, which makes me wonder if the card was under LN2 also. For the average person I would expect a 15% overclock and anything past that would be icing on the cake.

I think cranky knows this is not a average result! Its the highest single card score in the club!
And he is actually running a 990x and is the bechmark editor( may be the reason he holds the top spot)
