I'm going by what I've noticed, which was nothing, when I changed it to AHCI on my non-SSD driven systems. Soooo
But, if somebody told you that, before you had tried it, would you have still tried it for yourself anyway?
Unless im missing something, even if it didnt performance much better then standard (hopefully there is lol), theres still no downside to switching to it?

Haha I didn't think I was that bad either. To be fair that was one of several problems I'd had to deal with that day, kind of slipped my mind that I needed to change it back after resetting my BIOS...

Woops, spelled your name wrong, my bad lol, And trust me, i know the feelin. Was diagnosing why my net speed went so bloody slow since my board change the other night, and i spent about 6 hours at it, ..before it dawned on me to try it on my younger sister's laptop to see if it was only the broadband lol and it was.
